Hey so I changed the wording of the ask slightly just so I had more to work with, although the abuse I am talking about in this reaction is mental rather than physical as I think that’s what the original ask was intending for. He’d want to confront them about their behaviour, but most likely wouldn’t as you’d explain that wouldn’t make you happy after he’d told you. He’d most likely just bottle up his anger and frustration that somebody had hurt you so bad - making it difficult for even you to tell because he had been attentive to you and try to make you feel better rather than interjecting his own opinion. He’d only give your family member one more chance to f*ck up with you again before he’d have v. v. v. serious words with them. Woojin He’d also have a lot of pent up anger from hearing about how your family member had mistreated you, but unlike Chan he’d be less likely to show it to you in the first place. Instead he’d try to push his emotions aside for your sake, but I feel like he’d be the type to go behind your back and say something to the family member without you ever knowing because he would want to protect his baby from any future involvement with this abusive person, and he wouldn’t tell you because he wouldn’t want to bring anymore negativity into your life. He’d see how you’d brighten up after this person stopped trying to communicate with you, but would still be on his guard just in case they ever tried to re-appear. Minho strikes me as the type to just take no bullsh*t, and he dosen’t seem to be the type to give people second chances, especially when it comes to somebody that he cares about. It would be one of the first times you’d seen Minho become very aggressive as he’d defend you from your family member - “Y/N deserved better than you growing up, and they still do!” He’d shout, not aware of how loud he was being, or caring much for that matter. I think he’d also be angry that somebody had mistreated you, because he literally sees you as his princess, the light of his life, his literal universe. “Baby you can forget about them, it’s just me and you now, and I’m here to make sure nothing bad happens to you ever again okay?” He’d say as he held you tight and refused to let you go until he was satisfied that you had fully felt how much he loved and appreciated you. However, he’d also understand that they were your family and so it might be hard for you. If you still wanted to have a connection with them just for ease, or because it was unavoidable he’d be physical with you during social interactions with your family member. He’d hold your hand under the dinner table and press his leg against yours so that you’d know he was with you through the uncomfortable situation.“Y/N.. baby, do you want to leave yet?” He’d whisper leaning in subtly. Hyunjin GIF by jinnielovebot As one of the most empathetic / emotional members he would be upset for you and would get teary eyed during your re-telling of your relationship / history with said family member. He tried to cover up his tears because this wasn’t about him, but the fact that you, his Y/N, who was nothing but pure and wonderful had been mistreated and gone through such hard times would be the most upsetting thing for him. “I’m here now, Y/N, that person… baby they don’t matter anymore,” he said as he lent in, his damp cheek touching yours as he leaned up and kissed your forehead - holding you close. Seungmin GIF by seungminhos Seeing as he’s quite young, and sometimes struggles to show his emotions he’d be really worried that he wasn’t always giving you the best guidance when it came to the topic of your family member. One things for sure though, he’d make sure you know that the abuse wasn’t your fault and that it had happened, no matter how said family member tried to twist the truth. He’d comfort you, and let you reflect on the past but when all's said and done he’d want you to focus on your future, the future you have with him. He’d may think he wasn’t the best at helping you, but he’d actually be the member who’d motivate you and lift your spirits the most. Felix GIF by cursedstraykids I feel like Felix would also confront your family member, at first he’d try to stay rational and would realise that all he could do was support you to make the best decision for you. Eventually though it would become too much for him, especially as he began to learn more and more about what they had done to you. I think he’d just sent one big paragraph detailing how angry he was, and how he wouldn’t stand by and let them treat you like that. He’d regret it big times afterwards, especially after telling you, and you panicking because he’d made the situation worse, but in the end it was what you needed, and helped you finally realise that this person wasn’t having a healthy impact on you. His members would notice how low he seemed during dance practice but wouldn’t be able to get anything out of him, because Jeongin would know that this isn’t the type of information you want others to know. He’d try to think how best to help you, but all he could do was encourage you to cut the family member out of your life which you wouldn’t want to; but would need to hear. I feel like because Jeongin is the maknae people assume he has the maturity of a 5 year old but I think he’d help you make the right decision, and he’d be so patient and kind through it all.
