Justin Jefferson reset the wide receiver market last week when he signed a four-year deal worth a total of $110 million. That comes out to $35 million a year, which makes him the new highest-paid receiver in the game. Odds are that title won’t last for long, though. The next man up when it comes to getting a fat new contract at this position is Ja’Marr Chase from the Bengals, who will likely be getting paid some time before the regular season begins.
For now, let’s see how Jefferson’s new megadeal compares with the rest of the high-end receivers around the NFL, including DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett from the Seahawks. Here’s how the top 32 rank in annual salary according to figures at Over the Cap.
