1.0 - What are Aberrant Spectres?
» Welcome to a guide on Aberrant Spectres. What are Aberrant Spectres, you ask?
Well, Aberrant Spectres are ghost-like creatures, requiring 60 Slayer to kill. They are located in two places: Slayer Tower in Morytania and Pollnivneach Slayer Dungeon.
They have a special ability called Stench, which will hurt you 141 Life Points each hit and drastically lower your stats; therefore, it is advised you wear a Nose Peg (bought from any Slayer Master) to the Slayer Tower Aberrant Spectres.
2.0 - Arriving at Aberrants
There are a few good ways to get to Aberrant Spectres.
First, here are two ways to get to the ones in Morytania.
Morytania
- Use Fairy Ring Code CKS to teleport to Canifis.
From there, walk north to the Slayer
Tower. Make your way to the Banshees and
climb the ladder to the southwest.
Now, walk past the Infernal Mages, and the
Bloodvelds until you get to a door.
Beyond that door is a room full of Aberrant Spectres.
- Another way is to use your POH's Kharyll Teleport (only after Desert Treasure) and follow the path above.
There is one more place where these creatures can be found: Pollnivneach Slayer Dungeon.
Pollivneach Slayer Dungeon
Red Path: This path is what most people use. Just use
the Magic Carpet and go to Pollnivneach, then run to the
dungeon marked on the mini-map.
Blue Path: If your house is in Pollnivneach, use Teleport to House and run to Dungeon.
Once inside, you will see this room:
Just follow the Red Line to get to the Aberrant Spectres.
Recharging Summoning Points is made very convenient since
there is a mini-obelisk right in the room.
3.0 - Recommended Levels, Equipment, and Inventory
There are two methods you should use when fighting Aberrant Spectres: Tanking and Prayer. I will go over Praying first.

When you are done collecting the drops, make your way to the nearest bank. I will show you where to bank using the Slayer Tower and the Pollnivneach Slayer Dungeon.

Note: 700 GP (100 for Bribing Guard in Shantay Pass) is needed to get to Pollnivneach (the other 200 GP can be obtained after using the Magic Carpet ride to Nardah).
Alternately, you can use the Nardah Teleport scroll to get to the bank.
