would a ofa reaper scythe or sf be a very mediocre substitute to a giants sword?

souls rebound a mob, hit it with axe, after the hit spam ur venoms touch without it dying, souls rebound, left click, repeat the venoms touch part until int limit

To swordswap, I think it's just pressing right click a few times holding aots then switching to a higher damage weapon like giants sword or something and the giants sword damage is put into the projectiles. To use rend, just swordswap with aots on a random mob, get a high damage crit, and then go around shooting and left clicking.
