As is the case with most From Software games, there are branching paths throughout the main campaign of Armored Core 6 that will each lead you towards different endings, depending on your allegiances. So how do you get each of the 3 endings in the game? Here's how to get all three endings in Armored Core 6.

Liberator of Rubicon - Ayre

The Liberator of Rubicon ending is one that many players may be likely to encounter on their first playthrough. As the narrative progresses, Ayre will continually implore you to save her “brothers and sisters”, informing you of the potential that Coral has when joined with humanity, instead of exploited or destroyed.

This becomes prevalent during Chapter 3/4 where Ayre or the RLF will be the assigners of one of the Decision Missions you encounter. These will be:

  • Prevent Corporate Salvage of New Tech - Chapter 3
  • Destroy the Special Forces Craft - Chapter 3
  • Ambush the Vespers - Chapter 4

Partway into Chapter 5 towards the end of the campaign, you’ll be presented with two more Decision Missions, though these carry far greater consequences moving forward than any you’ve encountered thus far. You’ll have to choose between:

  • Intercept the Corporate Forces
  • Eliminate “Cinder” Carla

Here you will want to choose ‘Eliminate “Cinder” Carla’ as Ayre deems it necessary to prevent the wanton destruction of the Coral Convergence via Carla’s plan. Upon successfully defeating Carla within the mission, you’ll be tasked with two final levels:

  • Destroy the Drive Block
  • Bring Down the Xylem

Both are related to preventing Carla and her crew from kamikaze-ing the Xylem into the Convergence, by first taking out its engines and then facing off against an AC inhabited by Handler Walter for the final boss.

Upon defeating Walter, the Xylem crashes down to Rubicon and the Coral is saved as Ayre thanks you, promising a brighter future where Coral and humanity can co-exist.

To summarise, either during your initial playthrough or during New Game+, you’ll want to accept all missions from Ayre specifically, and assist the RLF wherever possible. For example, accept the ‘Prevent Corporate Salvage of New Tech’ and ‘Destroy the Special Forces Craft’ Decision missions within Chapter 3.

The Fires of Raven - Cinder Carla/Handler Walter

The Fires of Raven ending is also attainable within your first playthrough, and requires that you ignore any RLF or Ayre-specific Decision Missions and focus solely on what either Handler Walter or Cinder Carla assign you (depending on where you are in the campaign). These include:

  • Tunnel Sabotage - Chapter 3
  • Eliminate the Enforcement Squads - Chapter 3
  • Intercept the Redguns - Chapter 4

Partway into Chapter 5 towards the end of the campaign, you’ll be presented with two more Decision Missions, though these carry far greater consequences moving forward than any you’ve encountered thus far. You’ll have to choose between:

  • Intercept the Corporate Forces
  • Eliminate “Cinder” Carla

Here you obviously don’t want to eliminate Carla, so you’ll want to pick ‘Intercept the Corporate Forces’. This begins an onslaught of missions that sees you guiding the Xylem as it flies towards the Coral Convergence, on a direct collision course. This plays out over two additional missions:

  • Breach the Kármán Line
  • Shut Down the Closure Satellites

The former sees you flying through a stream of energy that gives you unlimited flight capabilities as you destroy an entire fleet of Arquebus Interceptor ships.

As you approach the Convergence, satellites in orbit prevent you from advancing further so you take to the stratosphere and fight against an AC piloted by Ayre as the final boss.

Upon defeating Ayre, the Xylem successfully crashes into the Convergence, causing an incomprehensibly large explosion as Coral covers the entirety of Rubicon in flame once more, leaving it as a permanently dead planet.

To summarise, either during your initial playthrough or New Game+, you’ll want to accept any/all requests from Cinder Carla, and ignore pleas from the RLF or Ayre specifically (unless they can’t be avoided in order to progress).

Alea lacta Est - ALLMIND (True Ending)

The third and final ending available to you is fully exclusive to New Game++ (not New Game+), and therefore will require three full playthroughs to unlock. The reason being that during New Game+ you gain access to Analysis encounters in the arena, and ALLMIND is learning from your tests. This continues in New Game++, and brings a whole new player into the war over Coral and Rubicon.

Throughout your New Game++ playthrough, you’ll find new missions appearing, such as ‘Obstruct the Mandatory Inspection’ during Chapter 1 and ‘Coral Export Denial’ during Chapter 3. You’ll also notice changes within the standard missions, including (but not limited to):

  • An ‘Escort the Weaponized Mining Ship’ option appearing opposite the usual ‘Destroy the Weaponized Mining Ship’ in Chapter 1
  • The Sulla fight during ‘Attack the Watchpoint’ is augmented, with additional enemies to contend with
  • The helicopter at the end of ‘Survey the Uninhabited Floating City’ in Chapter 3 is replaced by an RLF AC, Thumb Dolmayan.

Towards the end of Chapter 3, just before facing off against the Ice Worm, ALLMIND will begin sending mission requests directly. This begins with the aforementioned ‘Coral Export Denial’, where you’ll be preventing the removal of Coral, ensuring the mysterious “Coral Release” program will work.

You’ll then want to choose any and all ALLMIND-centric missions, including:

  • Eliminate V.III - Chapter 4 (Decision mission)
  • Reach the Coral Convergence - Chapter 4 (Objective will be different)

Chapter 5 is where it gets interesting, as the conclusion of ‘Reach the Coral Convergence’ is different, resulting in you not being incapacitated and having to escape in the janky mech as you’ve come to know during ‘Escape’. Instead, a brand new mission takes its place titled ‘MIA’.

Completing this leads to ‘Regain Control of the Xylem’. Destroy the various parasite modules within the Xylem’s hold, then prevent the lockout process from completing. This leads to the final mission, ‘Coral Release’. Here you’ll begin in the stratosphere and face off against ALLMIND as it turns on you, resulting in a frantic two-phase boss fight.

Successfully defeating ALLMIND (with Ayre’s help) will cause the Coral Release to occur with a black hole appearing, sucking in and then spreading Coral across the universe. You and dozens of other mechs reactivate on a different planet as Ayre explains they’re everywhere now. This is the final, and likely true ending to Armored Core VI.

To summarise, with any new missions that appear during your New Game++ playthrough, listen to the mission briefings and accept any associated with ALLMIND, particularly towards the end of Chapter 4 leading into Chapter 5.
