others pushing and seeing fake stories about alpha bank, the dirty dossier, and a million other far-fetched russia related conspiracy theories. by the way, never apologize, never attempted to correct the record. multiple articles dedicated to maddow's descent into the deep end. here's one from politico titled "rachel maddow's deep delusion." here's the guardian. today the house rules committee, they canceled a planned vote on two committees resolutions to hold hunter biden in contempt of congress. this as negotiations are largely ongoing about a date for hunter to appear for deposition. here with the latest is the house oversight committee chairman james comer. i have a lot of questions for you. initially there was no way you were going to issue a second subpoena. apparently that is now on the table. my understanding is kevin morris is scheduled to be deposed on thursday. isn't it a pretty good bet that if hunter does come in on any date that he's likely to plead the fifth? >> well, that's always been a possibility. that's face it, sean. his goal be very difficult to answer these questions we have the bank records. we have specific transactions remove emails, text messages, we have foreign testimony that's counter to everything both hunter and joe biden have said about their families shady schemes. at the end of the day we really

goes, i think many americans and i have a lot of people come up to me and want to talk politics and i sort of beg off because i'm not as informed as i used to be. but i will say about donald trump, he has a moment here but i don't think he's going to seize it. that tells me he might not be, first alchemy's got to start getting more canned people behind him when he goes into the midwest. he has all these -- it is like johnny of ed who winter over his shoulder and he looks like an old wallet i misplaced. he is got to start getting less tan army people behind him more tan. there's one way i think he can win the presidency and i don't think he'll take it that makes me think he's either not as sharp as some people think he is or he's too stubborn to be president. he should come on say listen, my whole life, especially in politics, you heard me say i don't apologize. i just want to look you in the eye tonight say we are at a point in this country's history where some common sense things have to take over again.

along the way have i've been ground down? i'm going after my wife. then going after my kids. mages naturally being a flippant guy, yeah, i've made some mistakes and i just want to say in an effort to get some people out there who will never vote for me because of my arrogance, i would like to say i apologize when i have made errors. you had ted cruz on earlier tonight. ted cruz just came out and endorsed him. it's a perfect example for trump to just circle back around and say you know what, i've gotten wisdom. i've gotten some humility. i've made fun of this man's wife at one point. for him to come around and endorsed me for the presidency, i don't even feel like i can accept that endorsem*nt unless i go on record by saying that was wrong, what i said about your wife. i was being a smartass. when i get out in front, i'm a bad front-runner, i get too arrogant. but that was a mistake, ted.

i'm humbled that you would come back around and endorsed me. until trump does something like that, i don't think he's serious about becoming the next president. people want him to cop to some of his errors over the years and they want him to become a little more humble and say "i really do believe this country is in trouble." say what you will about me personally but you have never heard me or psalm the exhibit any tendencies that would make you think i did not love this country. it's one thing he has going for them. i think people know he loves this country but i know a lot of people who never vote for trump, even if his beliefs directly coincided with him, because they don't like his manner. he's got to solve that. >> sean: i would say that i've said this to him privately and i've set it on air even this week. he throws one pitch, fastball
